Frequently Asked Questions
Your Questions Answered Here
How do I sign up for services?
The group sessions are designed for people who have done some form of somatic work, received energy healing, participated in a yoga or meditation practice, or have participated in some other form of personal exploration. There are many easy ways to prepare your body to receive this work. Rochelle is happy to help you identify what would be the best way to begin. You can contact her through the website.
Where are you located?
We are located at 107 1/2 South Church Avenue which is on the back half of the lot. You can access the studio by walking down the driveway to the left of the green house. You will see the Soma + Soul sign strait ahead with an arrow on it. The door is bright sunshine yellow.
Is pre-registration required?
Yes, all 1:1 sessions, group sessions, and workshops require registration ahead of time.
Do you have a waitlist?
Soma + Soul does not have a waitlist. Available sessions will be listed through the website.
What do I wear or need to bring to a session or group session?
Mats, bolsters, and blankets are provided. It is suggested that you wear comfortable clothing and bring something to write on. Please leave your phones in your cars if you can or turn them off if you need to bring them into the studio.
Can I come late or leave early from a group session?
The studio will be open 10 minutes before class and 10 minutes after class. It is suggested that you arrive on time and stay for the entire class. When people stay for the entire class is protects the container of the class and enhances everyone’s experience.
Where should I park?
There is a city parking lot on the corner of Church Avenue and Babcock Street, as well as the Rouse Public Parking Lot on the corner of Rouse Avenue and Babcock Street. You are also welcome to park on the street if there is space. Please avoid parking in the driveway of the studio. I also ask that you are mindful of sound when coming and going from the studio, as there is a residential home on the property.
What is the accessibility of the studio?
Our studio is on the first floor with a side walk leading to the door. Please contact us ahead of time if you have concerns about accessing the studio space.
